As a child, my friend Krit introduced me to making beaded Christmas balls. We would sit and stare at the balls on their family tree, playing "I Spy" and sharing stories of how her Grandmother had made them from kits from a midwestern store.

As adults, Krit found The Cracker Box, and we delved into making balls from kits as well as designing our own.
